Mazars is looking for a Junior Global Mobility Consultant to strengthen its team in Ghent and/or Brussels.

Your function
After an introduction and training period, you will be part of our Global Mobility Services team which is the advisor for HR managers, Finance departments … regarding the tax and legal aspects of their (international) personnel. In practice, your function will include the following services:
- You will advice on setting up structures of international employment in various countries (for example salary-splits, secondments), as well as the practical implementation of this advice
- You will assist our national and international clients in meeting tax, social security and migration compliance and reporting demands
- You will support the process regarding income tax returns, applications for single permits, A1’s, Limosa-notifications, payroll calculations …
- You will assist with tax and social audits, requests for information …
- You will advice on share-related compensation such as stock options, warrants, share plans … as well as the implementation of this advice in the payroll
- You will advice on salary-optimisations
- You will advice on the Belgian special tax regime for impatriates
- You will follow closely changes in the tax, social security and migration legislation
- You will have direct customer contact and will manage the client files assigned to you while relying on the support of a senior consultant and working in team
- You will have direct contact with our payroll and labour law team in Belgium as well as with different Mazars offices abroad
Your profile
- You have obtained your bachelor/master’s degree in law, (Applied) Economics or Postgraduate in Tax or you have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- You have a good knowledge and communication skills in at least 2 of the following 3 languages: Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken. Trilingual is a plus.
- You are client focused with a hands-on attitude
- You are highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, can solve complex problems in a pragmatic and qualitative way
- You are eager to learn and a good team player
